DOD proposes significant changes in its data- and software procurement contract regulations

The Defense Department is proposing some significant changes to the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) concerning the acquisition of commercial data and commercial computer software. Vendors will have to be alert to possible new requirements for special marking of data provided to DOD agencies. (Hat tip: Steven M. Masiello & Tyson J.
